World Tang Soo Do Badge Tang Soo Do Annual Awards 2007
On Saturday 9th June, the members of Impington and Cambridge Tang Soo Do Clubs, along with their families, celebrated the clubs Annual Awards, with an afternoon of bowling and having a meal at Strikes bowl in Ely. This is the third year we have held our Annual Awards at Strikes Bowl, which seems to be an acceptable and enjoyable way to get all the students together. This year there were forty people attending including students and parents and we hope that all those present enjoyed themselves. After the, at times competitive, bowling and an very enjoyable meal Mr & Mrs Allen, the Club Instructors, presented the clubs annual awards.
The presentations are made in three categories, Outstanding Effort, Most Improved and Student of the Year. This year there were three to each Club. Impington continues to grow with three classes per week, Sunday’s being for higher grades brown belt and above. This year a few members were unable to attend due to other commitments, so for future reference the Awards are normally held at the beginning of June on the Saturday nearest to the 5th June, the date on which Impington Tang Soo Do Club was formed.

Alex Campbell received the Club Student of the Year Award,
Philip Druiff received the Club Most Improved Student Award,
and Lauren Southwell received the Club Outstanding Effort Award.

The evening concluded around seven o’clock, with all those present in good spirits having spent an enjoyable afternoon together. Photos of the Award winners can be seen below plus more photos taken during the evening in the Photo Gallery album Awards2007.
